Pragati India Health

Privacy Policy

Draft: to be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

What we collect

  • Call-back requests: hospital name, city, your name and mobile number. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also receive your WhatsApp name, number and the messages you send.
  • Claims data (only if your hospital engages us): claims registers, billing exports and insurer or scheme statements you share with us.

Why we use it

To contact you about a claims check, and, if you engage us, only to reconcile your hospital's claims and help recover money owed. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored and processed in India, including by the AI that reads your claims. We are building our practices to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Who can access it

Access is limited by role to the Pragati staff working on your account. We use Google Cloud (data centres in India) to store and process data, Google Sheets and Gmail for call-back requests and email, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to message us there. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Call-back requests that don't lead to working together are deleted after 12 months.
  • Claims data is deleted within 30 days of your hospital stopping work with us, keeping only invoices and records the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to info@pragatiindia.org.
